About the Role
You will join an energetic, passionate team whose mission is to inspire, connect, coach and champion women in the outdoors through shared hiking adventures.
We’re looking for a talented, enthusiastic, savvy social media content creator to support our kick-ass team. You’ll LOVE the chance to help bring our brand to life, and grow our audiences, communities and impact across our events and social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok – and no doubt others yet to come!
This role is responsible for producing and editing engaging content that aligns with our brand and tone of voice and resonates with our amazing community whilst supporting our team and company objectives.
This is a wildly varied junior role that will offer the opportunity to gain a breadth of experience and grow and stretch yourself every day.
Ideally you’ll have some event marketing experience, but mostly importantly you’ll demonstrate an understanding of digital communities, social media and content creation. You’ll also need a ‘can-do’ attitude and love working with a fast-moving creative team. An optimistic, enthusiastic willingness to learn and adapt is essential.

Reporting Lines
You will report directly to the Content & Social Media Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce engaging social media content that resonates with our audiences and aligns with our brand’s identity, tone of voice and personality in order to meet our wild goals and company objectives.
- Editing/updating content in Canva and/or Adobe
- Creating, editing and publishing content across digital platforms including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and websites.
- Scheduling social media posts.
- Maintain and update the social media content calendar, and actively contribute to the planning and ideas for social media content.
- Contribute to campaign planning as well as impactful execution to drive interest and achieve sales & marketing targets.
- Actively foster our follower growth and engagement daily by responding to messages, comments, paid ad posts etc, working closing with the Content & Social Media Specialist and digital team.
- Regular reporting on social media marketing activity, campaigns and community sentiment.
- Organise and manage photographers and film crews for Event Days and other photoshoots/campaigns as needed + shoot and produce content at these events for social media
- Manage our inhouse image/video library including maintaining categories & tags, file structure, new images etc. Specifically, coordinate Event photography & video drop into inhouse image/video library
About You:
- Min. 1-2 years experience in social media marketing, content creation and video production, ideally in outdoors/adventure, health & fitness, fundraising or a related industry. Training will be provided in our systems and marketing tools for the right candidate.
- Demonstrated ability to have ideated, shot, edited and posted content, with clear examples
- Marketing or relevant qualifications highly regarded.
- Creative flair with a passion for all things social and ability to produce high quality content.
- Editing, social media, website and software skills, in particular confidence producing and editing video in Final Cut Pro X, Premier and Capcut.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Illustrator and InDesign. Experience with Photoshop, After Effects, Audition highly regarded.
- Experience shooting & producing content on the go with iPhone. DSLR highly regarded.
- Personable and confident both in front of and behind the camera
- Proficiency using social media platforms.
- Strong Mac and PC skills and proficiency in task management tools.
- Ability to adapt and problem-solve.
- Desire to learn, listen, initiate and communicate effectively.
- Be self-motivated and hungry to make an impact and add value.
- Ability to quickly grasp new technologies and tools.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Collaborator able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Be available to work some weekends and evenings aligning to our event calendar (this may involve interstate travel).
- Valid driver’s license
- Right to live and work in Australia
