Wilsons Promontory Wild Week - Nov 2018
About the adventure
The Prom, as it is affectionately known, marks the southern-most point of Victoria and overlooks Bass Strait. Trekking the Prom is a delight with coastal vegetation, rugged and knarled headlands, gorgeous beaches and pristine bays. This trek is a must do for those wanting a challenge as we carry our supplies for the 50 km return route to the Lighthouse. A good day's trekking is well rewarded with stunning views to the Southern Ocean and beyond. You may even see a pod of whales and get up close and personal with the local wombat community.
