About the adventure
Be rewarded with breathtaking views across the entire Morton National Park as you are drawn towards the ancient monolith which is The Castle. This wild and remote region offers primeval rock pagodas and soaring sandstone cliffs to rejuvenate and inspire you. Considered one of the best hiking adventures in New South Wales, this challenging adventure involves a moderate endurance day with challenging, technical, and exposed rock scrambling.
Two first aid trained Wild Women On Top guides, first aid, insurance, gourmet morning tea and lunch, National Park and Wildlife Service entry fees, and epirb.
You must be of moderate to strong fitness with the ability to trek for 8-10 hours with a 6-8kg pack, including in steep, exposed terrain. Confidence in rock scrambling is essential. You will need to complete a coach assessment four weeks prior to the adventure.
Remote Client Assesment Requirements: Any client wishing to register for this Wild Walk who is not a current active trek training client or lives remotely, must agree to either:
Attend a Trek Training session in Sydney OR
Submit an iPhone/Android Video of themselves completing Stairs up and down and rock scrambling over uneven terrain.
