Barrenjoey Headland Wild Walk - August 2018
About the adventure
This stunning half day introductory loop hike around the secret nooks of Barrenjoey Headland is one of Sydney’s hidden gems.
We begin with a good warmup climb through the McKay reserve to the beautiful Palm Beach Pool. We then travel along the sand, toward the mighty lighthouse, before beginning an exciting rock scramble through Barrenjoey Head Aquatic Reserve. Here we have the chance to see seals and dolphins.
We will enjoy a gourmet lunch near the North-Eastern point and then return to Palm Beach for a climb up to the lighthouse and/or chance for an invigorating dip at Palm Beach.
This adventure is a great introductory walk for new Wild Women or a sensational training adventure for our seasoned set. Join us and experience the magic!
