Back in 2005 Coastrek was born.
A 127 km adventure that had trekkers walking around the clock. It was young and unknowing but its vision and cause attracted wonderful, adventurous teams to its starting line. 10 years on the original Coastrekker’s have gone on to scale the most arduous yet breathtaking peaks of Everest and K2, abandoned professions in search of the magnificent and are now employed by the wild – spending days getting to know themselves amongst the many hidden treasures of the outdoors.

Vacant trails became packed with laughing women trekking their weekly worries away. 3 hours evaporated beneath the moonlight in seconds, strangers became friends and every 2 weeks we shared a yummy supper together – none of us knowing that one day we would all climb some of the most breathtaking peaks, together.
