WILD TIPS - Walk down hills and stairs with care.

Walking Down Hills and Stairs

  •     Slow Down!
  •     Zigzag/traverse down the slope.
  •     Use poles to reduce impact on your knees.
  •     Shorten your stride.
  •     Stay upright over your hips and knees.
  •     On steeper slopes, keep your knees slightly bent at all times and lean slightly forward for stability.
  •     Switch on your CORE!
