    Ten years ago a wild woman intent on training herself to trek and climb mountains started a new trend...She put on a backpack, stuffed it with whatever she could find, and set off to explore the coastal and bush tracks around Sydney.
    Along the way she learnt many lessons, including how to survive in the wilderness, the importance of hydration and footwear, the right gear for trekking, proper nutrition and how to pack a pack. As her enthusiasm for trekking spread, more and more women joined her to prepare for World Class Treks. Di Westaway went on to create a new fitness regime called Trek Training for women.
