GREEN EXERCISE!
Wild Women on Top Trek Training is part of a new movement sweeping the nation – the desire for Green Exercise!
It is all about engaging with the natural environment for a more enriched exercise experience.
Studies have shown that people who exercise in natural, outdoor environments show reductions in stress/anxiety levels, increased self esteem and reduced blood pressure. We have a feel good response to being in touch with nature, as it helps us let go of the focussed concentration that most of us endure for long periods of our working day.
Trek training gives you the opportunity to get a natural high, in a different location each week. It also provides you with the chance to master new skills, take risks, enjoy beautiful views, improve your cardio fitness and engage socially with wonderfully inspiring women!
As humans, we evolved in natural environments, but are now living in our own urban zoo. It is even more important now for us to reconnect with nature and to ensure our children do the same. For more info on the benefits of Green Exercise and latest studies, visit www.julespretty.com and Wikiversity
